DIY Sea Salt Spray

Sea Salt spray is an awesome way to style hair naturally. This is the recipe I have loved the most!

Ingredients:

• 1 C Hot Water (hot enough so the salt can dissolve)
• 1 TBS Sea Salt
• 1-2 Tsp Argan or Castor Oil (or 4 pumps of our Argan Face Oil)
• 5-6 drops of Essential Oil. Lavender is especially nice, but also Cedarwood or Geranium could work well!
  Skip this if you use our Argan Face Oil because the Essential Oils are already mixed in. 
• Spray Bottle (Like this glass bottle from amazon) 

Directions:

1. Mix the salt in with warm water until it is dissolved and add in the oils
2. Pour the liquid into your spray bottle and shake the spray before using it (to help the oil and water mix).
3. Spray the Sea Salt Spray onto wet hair, scrunch it, then dry, and style.
4. If you are avoiding heat and still want the beachy waves, after scrunching, put your hair in a french braid and allow it to dry.  

Everyone’s hair is different. So play around with the formula. Here are a couple of ideas on how you could switch it up. For hair that is Dry, use a little more oil. For hair that is Oily, use a little less oil. For Curly Hair, add a teaspoon of leave-in conditioner or water-based hair gel for extra moisture and holding power.
